French bestseller: Is it really worth reading?

February 11, 2018

Hi everyone!

How are you?

Today I'm writing some kind of book review. I think I've never wrote a book review on blog, so why not? Well, I'm sure you've heard for Guillaume Musso and his books. If you haven't, Gullaume Musso is one of the most popular novelist in France today.  When I've heard for this novelist, from my friends, I was wondering: "Are his books so good as they're talking?". Couple days from then, I've seen his book in the store window but I have not bought It. Why, you're asking? I was skeptical so I just walked past that. Time was flying, and I forgot about this book. Almost 2 years passed, and my best friend Emma told me that she wants to read my "Milk and Honey" book, so in exchange for It, she will give me one her book. I accepted. Actually, she gave me 2 her books. I was looking for their author and I've read: Guillaume Musso. At the same moment, I remembered what happened two years ago, in the bookstore. "I'm going to read them, nothing costs me!" - I said.

And I started reading...

The first book I've got is French bestseller Where Would I Be Without You?

Parisian cop Martin Beaumont has never really got over his first love, Gabrielle. Their brief, intense affair in San Francisco and the pain of her rejection still haunt him years later. Now, however, he's a successful detective - and tonight he's going to arrest the legendary art thief, Archibald Maclean, when he raids the Musee d'Orsay for a priceless Van Gogh. But the enigmatic Archibald has other plans. Martin's pursuit of the master criminal across Paris is the first step in an adventure that will take him back to San Francisco, and to the edge of love and life itself.

Book is great! I love this one. The topic of the book is dramatic and amazing. When you start reading, you don't even notice how many pages you've turned. So, this book broke all prejudices I had about French bestseller. It's really, really good. I recommend to you.

The second book is A call from an angel

In a packed airport lounge, a man and a woman literally run into each other, spilling their belongings on the floor. After a brief shouting match, they go their separate ways.Madeline and Jonathan have never met before, and should never have met again. However, as they hurried to collect their things, they switched mobile phones. When they realise their mistake, they are already more than 6,000 miles apart: She is a florist in Paris, and he owns a restaurant in San Francisco. It doesn’t take long before they give in to temptation and explore the contents of each other’s phones. An indiscretion on both their parts, but which leads to an unexpected revelation: their lives are linked by a secret that both thought would stay buried forever…

I must say, I was thrilled. It didn't happen long ago that I just can not stop reading the book. It happened to me with this book, and then I read them all from Musso. A great writer, after whose novels I have been under the impression for days. Recommendations from the heart for this one, and all other novels from Musso.
